Complicity With Israel’s Genocidal War Against Palestinians: AICCTU Warns Against Any Effort to “Export” Indian Workers to Israel to Replace Palestinian Workers

Even as Israel escalates its genocidal war on Palestine with incessant bombing and ground invasion of Gaza, killing almost 10,000 Palestinians including more than 4000 children and levelling major parts of Gaza, reports are afloat that the Israeli and Indian governments are in talks for “export” of Indian workers to replace Palestinians whose work permits have been revoked and have been expelled from Israel.

Release Palestinian Health Activist Shatha Odeh!

Prominent Palestinian Health activist and director of Health Work Committee (HWC)  Shatha Odeh was arrested by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on 7 July 2021. She was arrested along with 10 other Palestinians during raids across West Bank as a part of the reprisal attacks by IOF against Palestinian population and activists for resisting the brutal Israeli aggression in May 2021. Another member of HWC Juana Ruiz Sánchez, the project coordinator, has been detained since 13 April 2021.

The people in the occupied Palestinian territories of West Bank and Gaza are facing a new wave of brutal aggression by Israel apartheid regime since the night of May 10, 2021. More than 250 people have been killed including 66 children and 38 women. The aggression comes as a further blow to the people in Gaza who are already reeling under devastating humanitarian crisis due to the ongoing land-air-sea blockade and continuous bombings by Israel that has destroyed Gaza’s most of the vital infrastructures.
